Peter Malpas was unsuccessful in retaining Chorley West for a second term.  The Division, which includes Charnock Richard, Chorley NW, Coppull and Heskin, was won by Labour with a swing from the Peter Malpas of 15.1% to Labour and 22.3% to UKIP.
